Cal North Offers Curriculum for Recreational Training
We have all been challenged with finding ways to navigate through our daily activities during the COVID-19 era. Restrictions have made it impossible or impractical to return to normal soccer activities including games, practices, and training.
In an effort to help clubs and leagues institute processes that will enable their recreational level players to continue to train with the goal of getting them back on the field with confidence and in a safe environment, Cal North has developed the COVID-19 Safe Grassroots Training Experience.
The program offers a 10-week training curriculum that is presented in units specific to age group. With separate training information available for Under 6; Under 7 and Under 8; Under 9 and Under 10; Under 11 and Under 12; and for Under 14 through Under 19.
Cal North’s philosophy is that KIDS NEED SOCCER. We understand the challenges leagues, clubs and coaches are facing with the ability to keep players active, motivated, and primed to take the field when return to play can be implemented. The program will walk coaches through training methods organized into ten different sessions designed to instruct players over the course of a 10-week training period.
We are here to help our members with preparations to a return to play in a safe and responsible way, including having players and coaches ready to begin in person soccer activities
The curriculum is accessible online.
