SACRAMENTO, Calif. (December 6, 2023) - Cal North is excited to announce G6 Performance Training as an Olympic Development Program partner for the 2023-2024 cycle.
G6 Performance Training is an athletic performance company that was founded in 2019 that specializes in athlete health and performance using sports science technology. They have worked with a variety of sports programs to improve speed, power, and strength for success on the field.
Some of the benefits that Cal North ODP coaches & families will be able to experience are Metrix Testing Data Collection using McLloyd GPS technology to attain speed data prior to training sessions. This will help monitor performance and player loads.
“We are super excited to partner with Cal North and the Olympic Development Program to enhance the program with comprehensive data to support athlete performance and health. We want the ODP athletes to step onto the field with absolute confidence that they are physically ready to perform at a high level,” said Nick Pohl, Owner of G6 Performance Training. “Providing these metrics gives the athletes a breakdown of where they are currently at and what they need to work on to get to the next level."
G6 Performance Training is a collection of former athletes that have become experts on speed mechanics, change of direction, acceleration, and deceleration.
